2017 Fall Soil Project Briefing Report
2017 Fall Soil Project Briefing Report
2017/11/19.
We held a briefing session at the National Olympics Memorial Youth Center on a sunny Sunday.
We were able to welcome a large number of customers early in the morning. Thank you very much.
As a blueprint of the compilation "map collection, atlas version" (cesium atlas version) of "East Japan soil beckerel measurement project" that is currently planned to be produced, taking two cases of Tochigi and Yamagata as an example, the measurement results Three speakers reported focusing on introducing examples that have been seen by overlaying various data.
We will briefly report the contents of the day.
■ Introduction of participating measurement rooms
Everybody's data site consists of 34 measurement rooms nationwide. By measuring the food and soil brought in by the local community in each measuring room, measuring what you care about yourself, and registering the data in the common database of "all people's data site" This is a mechanism that allows many people to see the results on the Internet. On the day, we had everyone in the measuring room gathered from all over the country come up on the platform, and it was a little time, but we said hello while looking at faces such as "I think you are continuing to measure".
Message from the measuring room of the whole country (the measuring room of Hiroshima participates from the north from Hokkaido to the south) |
■ What has been seen from "Soil map" and "radioactive substance inspection data in food" implemented by local governments-Analysis report focusing on Yamagata Prefecture (directly from Agano's lab / Murakami)
Yamagata Prefecture is relatively adjacent to Fukushima Prefecture with relatively low levels of radioactivity. Murakami of the laboratory of the laboratory reported the analysis result about the reason and the correlation with food. From the topography such as the mountains and the weather at that time (snow conditions), we speculated on where and why the radioactivity was established. In addition, based on the results of food inspection conducted by the local government, we have compared the soil maps with municipalities with shipment restrictions and over the standard value (100 Bq / kg or more) for wild animals (Japanese black bear, deer, wild boar etc).
In areas where cesium concentration is high, there was an introduction such as that the number of measurements of Asiatic black bears was extremely small, and that in some areas where Matagi culture remained, the shipping restrictions were lifted on condition of full head inspection.
Among wild plants (such as kosia bra, wild mushrooms and bamboo shoots), those exceeding standard values are scattered near prefectural border near the mountain, and even in Yamagata prefecture where cesium concentration is considered to be low, wildlife and wild plants and vegetables With regard to mushrooms, caution is required because high cesium exceeding the standard value is detected. It is important to note that shipping restrictions apply only to the products sold, and so do not include self-consumption.
In classification consideration of food data which the local government measured, we compare Yamagata prefecture, Niigata prefecture, Tochigi prefecture, Kanagawa prefecture etc. and thing that there are notably in Yamagata prefecture is that prefecture special product (beef, cherry etc) Introduced.
Consider cesium deposition results from the topography of Yamagata Prefecture and snowfall information at that time |
■ Tochigi analysis report ・ Report on workshop in Tochigi prefecture ・ For preservation of the dental teeth project (C-Lab ・ Keiichi Onuma)
Commentary on the impact of 20 millisieverts |
He also introduced the simulation of iodine flow at that time and the iodine measurement value of tap water, and warned of the possibility of initial exposure.
With boars, wild mushrooms and wild vegetables, you also need to be careful about ashes such as wood burning stoves. At Chernobyl eight to ten years after the accident, the difference in eating habits with the Russian people is that the internal exposure value is even greater than immediately after the accident, and the half life of cesium-137 is thirty years. He warned that there would be a risk of increasing internal exposure, like Chernobyl, if he thought that "almost all right" was eaten, taking as an example mushrooms picking in a region rich in mountain confections and preference for jibe as an example in Japan.
Changes in internal cesium exposure to adult cesium in multiple regions in Ukraine (1986-2008) |
Changes in internal exposure in three villages such as Kiev (red for adults and green for children) |
The Tooth Tooth Preservation Network is the first private sector dedicated strontium tooth measurement station where C-Lab also participates, and is currently being prepared for establishment in Gifu Prefecture. At the venue, a kit for collecting and sending milk teeth was distributed, and all the prepared kits were exhausted. We are also looking for investors to set up a measuring station.

■ Introduction of “Environmental Concentration Becquer Measurement Project” and request for crowdfunding (Hotspot Investigators for Truth (HIT) Representative Sugar Nat)
The so-called micro-hotspot, HIT has been steadily carrying out activities to discover and measure places where radioactive materials have accumulated significantly compared with the surrounding area, and to ask the government for measures such as decontamination. Hot spots are within a limited range, so removing them can eliminate the danger. However, according to the current standards of the Ministry of the Environment, a wide range such as characters and towns is regarded as one unit, and the decontamination standard is determined by the average air dose (mainly 1 meter in height). Contamination has been virtually abandoned. At a height of 1 meter, 0.451 μSv / h, and when measured at a height of 5 cm, 2.682 μSv / h, etc. If only one meter is measured, very high pollution will be abandoned. |
Based on the current situation, we are working to protect people from radiation exposure, such as parks that are familiar to children and street sidewalks where people come and go, and bicycle parking lots.
In fact, we introduced examples of what kind of contamination there was and how much the air dose dropped after having been decontaminated by the local government after the notification.
In order to make this activity widely known, patterns of places where it is likely to become a hot spot are displayed in an easy-to-understand manner with illustrations of 12 categories such as rain gutters, snowdrifts, tree roots, buildings kiwa etc. The project is being carried out jointly with everyone's data site by posting it on the web under the title "Environmental Concentration Becquerol Measurement Project".

We show place which is easy to become hotspot by 12 classification by illustration, We publish measurement value of each type of measurement point |
He also pointed out that these activities are most likely to move the administration if requested by the citizens who actually live in the local government.
In the nuclear accident, the local government is also the same victim as our citizens. From that point of view, I will teach you the tips that it is easy to work if you can build a good relationship with the administration.
If you say, "I do not know where the hotspot is" or "I do not know the negotiations with the local government", I will go out, so let's all be connected. And called.
In order to continue this activity, we are raising funds through crowdfunding until December 25th. Thank you for your cooperation.
